National Nutrition Week 2017

Here we are in September month and the first week of September is known as National Nutrition Week. In this article we will share some of the great nutritious superfood which you should include in your diet and get the maximum benefits out of it. So let’s get started.

A cup of fresh spinach leaves also provides almost double the daily requirement for vitamin K, which plays an important role in cardiovascular and bone health. It is also a rich source of Iron, which keeps your hair and nails strong and healthy.

All types of brassica vegetables are healthy power-packed superfoods. It contains compounds called indoles, which have been shown to reduce the risk of cancer dramatically. Eating cabbage more than once a week cut men’s colon cancer odds by 70 percent. It also stimulates the immune system, kills bacteria and viruses, and is a good blood purifier. Cabbage prevents bile from absorbing fat after a meal, which lowers the overall amount of cholesterol in the body.
